Edward Brewster “Todd” Ayres,
Ayres Fabrication was founded by engineer, designer and master craftsman Edward Brewster “Todd” Ayres Jr. in 2016.
A world traveler; Right out of High School, at the age of 17, Todd hit the road and wound up in Panama building things for the US Government. He opened his first fabrication business in central California in the early 90’s where his creations ranged in scope from small bolt on items and original design pieces of art to projects encompassing dozens of acres. In other words, he personifies the old adage, no-job-is-too big, no-job-is-too-small. Todd is an honorably discharged U.S. Air Force Veteran and a true patriot, with 10% of his profits going to Disabled American Veterans or DAV.
In addition to original creations, several patents and security systems, Todd has a passion for motorcycles. After leaving his ’48 Indian Chief in California in the mid 90’s and not riding motorcycles for several years due to a full right hip replacement, Todd now owns two Harleys, a ‘04 FXST and a ‘95 FXDWG. Having won numerous awards for innovation while working in various industrial environments and with Fortune 100 and fortune 500 corporations, he has a long history of custom design and fabrication. Specializing in security, he has a focus on precision, high quality and durability. If you can think it he can build it and it will last.
Todd is a great history buff and, for a number of years, served on the board of directors with the Guilford Keeping Society, a diversified group of Guilford town residents concerned with preservation of the Thomas Griswold house (1774) and the Medad Stone Tavern (1803) of our early American heritage. Todd attended Choate Rosemary Hall Preparatory School in Wallingford, Connecticut and is a 4th generation Harvard legacy.
